Meet Tara Abraham, MD, MPH, FACOG

Dr. Abraham has been practicing Obstetrics and Gynecology since 2011. After witnessing the constraints of traditional healthcare settings, she envisioned a practice where women would feel heard, valued, and supported throughout their healthcare journey. Dr. Abraham is board-certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology. She graduated from The University of Chicago with honors. Before completing her Medical Degree at Loyola University Chicago's Stritch School of Medicine, she obtained a Master's in Public Health at Yale University, simultaneously taking courses and acting as a Teaching Fellow for the Yale School of Management. After graduating from Yale, she worked in healthcare consulting for UnitedHealth Group.

She completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Baystate Medical Center/Tufts University, where she also obtained certification in the Fundamentals of Laparoscopic Surgery and resident research awards. She has completed a breadth of research ranging from reviewing an evidenced based approach to the medical management of fibroids at the NIH, assessing chronic lower urinary tract infections and bacteriuria with the OBGYN department at Loyola-Stritch School of Medicine, to evaluating the economic impact associated with the management of dermatologic adverse drug reactions induced by medications used to treat lung cancer, with Northwestern University's Feinberg School of Medicine.

Most recently, Dr. Abraham completed certification in nutritional education and planning from Harvard University. Dr. Abraham offers a comprehensive approach to women’s health that goes beyond standard care.
